On April 4, 2026, to mark the long-run solo exhibition at NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO (January 9–May 6, 2026),
we held an art event — live painting plus a workshop — in the 2F library.

Special art, in the spirit of NOHGA HOTEL

In the live painting, joining NOHGA HOTEL’s concept of Myoga (divine blessing) with
joined with the traditional Japanese luck motif of the daruma, we improvised a “Myoga Daruma.”

A hands-on art workshop

Timed to cherry-blossom season, this time“sakura art anyone can try — and make their own”we planned a workshop around

Guests from London threw themselves into the workshop with real care.

Everyone started with the same technique, yet each person’s sakura came out differently. It felt like personality, made visible.

Becoming part of the travel story — through art.

A few days later, a workshop guest sent this photo of the piece, beautifully framed.
It looks like a family gathered into one, and like a keepsake of the trip.
I felt truly happy — and I understood, in that moment, why we hold these events.

We only spent a few hours together through art.
And still, they held that time so dear. It made me deeply glad.

Thank you for the time and the unexpected meeting that art made possible.
with our guests from London and their family

Live art as moving entertainment

Hotels already create a world apart. Why not add an art event?

Nurture conversation with guests, and make a hotel stay more memorable

Live Art Painting

infinity artist NAOshaped around a hotel’s concept and brand story
we propose live painting.

It isn’t only a performance that finishes a painting.

We listen for what the hotel holds dear,
then express that world in a form you can see.

The time the work is being born becomes a natural conversation with guests, and
it becomes a special experience you can only have at a hotel.

These days, guests from Japan and overseas want more than a place to sleep —
they’re looking for an experience that belongs to that place, and time they’ll remember.

Live painting not only lifts guest satisfaction —
It creates moments you want to photograph, and conversations between people — and it makes what is special about a hotel land more deeply.

We welcome conversations from the planning stage.

“We want a hotel-like art event.”
“We want the brand’s concept expressed in art.”

Conversations that start there are more than welcome.
Feel free to get in touch.
