The moment I met NAO’s painting, I loved it ❣️
After 19 years with my cat Chamaru,
I knew she was still in my heart — and still I wanted something I could hold…
That’s when
I felt NAO might be the person who could paint the Chamaru who is in heaven now.
After I asked NAO for the commission, I chose photos of Chamaru, and
I cried every time I talked about our memories 😭
Going through that again and again, although she’s gone from this world,
I realized that “Professor Chamaru” was still sitting firmly in my heart 😆
このThrough the making of the work, something in me settled.
I wondered if she had talked with Chamaru in heaven many times…
that I wondered if she had understood him so well — his little traits 😊
(Maybe because she spent months with him, she said it would be lonely to let him go — ha.)
And the finished Chamaru came home with real presence 😊
In life I was rather thoroughly supervised. Now I’m watched over by Professor Chamaru in the painting 😊
He says, “I’m right here!” 😆

▼ A few things to confirm about commissions
- Requests other than Rainbow Bridge childrenalso available.
- Delivery currently takes about one to two months.
- A commission needs the pet parent’s partnership.
- If we lose contact during the work, the full fee is still due, whether or not the painting is finished.
- Pet commissionslimited to three a year.
- Depending on the studio schedule, we may not be able to accept a request.
- We may also close the commission service without noticemay also happen.

“Infinity” NAO takes her name from her birth month, August — the number 8 and the infinity mark. A Leo, she uses the lion as her emblem. In Hawaiian, leo means “voice” or “message.” She paints to deliver a message from the soul.
